Queer Activism

Research - education - knowledge

Queer Activism is a group of researchers and community workers dedicated to disseminating knowledge and providing education, with a specific focus on HIV/AIDS, and LGBTIQ+ youth. Furthermore, through research and education we address issues such as discrimination, violence, access to healthcare, legal equality, and social stigma.

A Queer Activism organization is a group dedicated to advocating for the rights, visibility, and acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals through various forms of activism. These organizations often work to address issues such as discrimination, violence, healthcare access, legal equality, and social stigma faced by LGBTQ+ people. They may engage in activities such as advocacy campaigns, community organizing, policy lobbying, direct action, education and awareness-raising efforts, and providing support services to LGBTQ+ individuals and communities. Queer Activism organizations can range from grassroots collectives to larger non-profit organizations, and they play a vital role in driving social change and promoting equality for LGBTQ+ individuals worldwide.
